MCA approves Conformance Testing Services

Securewest International are pleased to announce that the Maritime and Coastguard Agency has approved our LRIT Conformity Testing Services for all ships registered in the UK, potentially over 1500 vessels.

The United Kingdom joins other registries such as Turkey, Australia, Bahamas, St Kitts and Nevis, and others in approving the conformity testing services.

We believe that Securewest will provide the best testing services to ship owners who are required to test their equipment to ensure their tracing equipment is LRIT compliant. We have clients currently signing up to begin testing to ensure all ships are tested prior to the deadline of December 31, 2008.
