The shipping industry is undergoing some of the most profound changes seen in its recent history with new rules and regulations now affecting almost all sectors, ranging from personnel issues, safety standards, security, ship operations and ship management.
In recognition of the rapidly changing landscape of the maritime industry, Securewest International announces the inaugural Maritime Lunch Forum, will take place in London on 25 January 2007 at the exclusive W-Sens Restaurant in Piccadilly (www.wsens.com).
This will be the first in a series of such Forums hosted by Petrospot in association with Cargo Security International and sponsored by Securewest International. The London Maritime Lunch Forums are designed to be informal events featuring two principle guest speakers and focusing on a particular area of interest. The Forums will be an excellent opportunity to meet a select number of fellow professionals and debate key issues affecting the maritime industry within a relaxed setting.
The theme for the first Maritime Lunch Forum will be “Maritime Piracy” and the principle speakers will be Captain P Mukundan, Director, International Maritime Bureau and Steven Jones, Professional Development Manager at The Nautical Institute.
In order to maintain exclusivity, spaces are limited to just 40 guests. We therefore advise that you reserve your place by completing the booking form as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The event will begin at 12.30 and finish at around 3pm, and the price per attendee is £50 + VAT - to include a welcoming drink and reception, and a three course lunch with wine.
We look forward to meeting you at the first London Maritime Forum
