The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 21 maritime related incidents during the reporting period of 03 – 09 June 2025. The following incidents were recorded:
- 10-JUN-25 General Security Warning – GNSS interference reported in Red Sea.
- 10-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 42 migrants rescued off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 10-JUN-25 Drugs Interdiction – 1.2 tons of shabu discovered off western Philippines.
- 10-JUN-25 Drugs Interdiction – 250 kilograms of cocaine intercepted in Brisbane, Australia.
- 11-JUN-25 Robbery – Underway bulk carrier boarded by six armed individuals in Singapore Strait.
- 11-JUN-25 Migrants & Refugee Incident – 400 Migrants intercepted in the English Channel.
- 11-JUN-25 General Security Warning – Possible military escalation activity in Persian Gulf.
- 12-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 52 migrants intercepted in English Channel.
- 12-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 41 migrants rescued off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 12-JUN-25 Drugs Interdiction – 3,000 kilos of drugs intercepted in the Caribbean Sea.
- 13-JUN-25 General Security Warning – Threat level for Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Northern Arabian Sea increased.
- 13-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 919 migrants intercepted in English Channel.
- 13-JUN-25 Boarding – Underway bulk carrier boarded in the Singapore Strait.
- 13-JUN-25 Boarding – Underway tanker boarded in the Singapore Strait.
- 13-JUN-25 General Security Warning – GNSS disruption experienced in the Persian Gulf.
- 13-JUN-25 Drugs Interdiction – 4.5 tonnes of cocaine seized at Port of Amsterdam.
- 14-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 11 migrants interdicted off California.
- 14-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 134 migrants intercepted in English Channel.
- 14-JUN-25 General Security Warning – Drone attack on the port of the Kangan in Iran.
- 15-JUN-25 Boarding – Underway bulk carrier boarded in the Singapore Strait.
- 15-JUN-25 Illegal Fishing – Foreign fishing vessel intercepted for illegal fishing off Maningrida, Northern Territory, Australia.
