In January 2024, a globally recognised shipping company reached out to us with safety concerns as Houthi attacks in the Red Sea intensified.

They requested Daily Operations Reports detailing activities in the Southern Red Sea, Bab al Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden.

Our reports gave an assessed risk level and detailed all recorded maritime security incidents during the previous 24-hour period. We explained the tactics used by the Houthis and gave background information about the wider tensions in the Middle East, including Israel-Hamas and the involvement of Iran.

Due to the intelligence provided, our client made the decision to suspend transits through the Red Sea. They expressed deep gratitude for our support during this challenging time.
