The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 17 maritime-related incidents during the reporting period of 19 May – 25 May 2026. The following incidents were recorded:
- 19-MAY-26 General Security Warning – Underway tanker SKYWAVE seized approximately 329nm NW of Lhoknga, Indonesia.
- 19-MAY-26 Drugs Interdiction – Over 2 tonnes of drugs intercepted in port of Posorja, Ecuador.
- 19-MAY-26 Robbery – Fuel stolen from locked dinghy in Marigot bay, St. Martin (France).
- 20-MAY-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 26 migrants intercepted off Izmir, Turkey.
- 20-MAY-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 22 migrants intercepted off Aydin, Turkey.
- 20-MAY-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 24 migrants intercepted off Izmir, Turkey.
- 20-MAY-26 General Security Warning – Underway Iranian-flagged oil tanker CELESTIAL SEA intercepted in the Gulf of Oman.
- 21-MAY-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 17 migrants intercepted off Izmir, Turkey.
- 22-MAY-26 Drugs Interdiction – Nearly 430 kilos of cocaine intercepted off Gibraltar.
- 22-MAY-26 Drugs Interdiction – 373 kilos of drugs intercepted in Port Botany, Australia.
- 23-MAY-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 394 migrants cross the English Channel.
- 22-MAY-26 Suspicious Approach – Tanker approached by small craft north of Socotra, Gulf of Aden.
- 23-MAY-26 General Security Warning – Multiple reports of suspicious approaches in Gulf of Aden.

- 23-MAY-26 Suspicious Approach– Underway product tanker approached 200nm W of Socotra, Gulf of Aden.

- 24-MAY-26 Robbery – Attempted robbery in Old Bank Bay, Panama.
