incidents during the reporting period of 2 May – 8 May 2023. The following incidents were
recorded:
- 02-MAY-23 – Drugs Interdiction – Portuguese police seize 4.5 tons of cocaine concealed in
- shipment of bananas in Setubal.
- 02-MAY-23 – Drugs Interdiction – Saudi Arabian officials seize more that five million
- amphetamine pills in Jeddah.
- 02-MAY-23 – Kidnapping – Bulk carrier attacked and three crew kidnapped in Owendo,
- Gabon.
- 04-MAR-23 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 44 migrants rescued by Greek police.
- 07-MAY-23 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Rescue boat NADIR assists 130 migrants in
- distress in the Central Mediterranean .
- 07-MAY-23 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Five boats with 338 migrants land in
- Lampedusa, Italy.
- 08-MAY-23 – Drugs Interdiction – US Coast Guard seizes $30 million of drugs in the Gulf of
- Oman.
