Weekly Maritime Summary 27 July – 2 August 2020
The Securewest International Global Response Centre (GRC) recorded three maritime related incidents during the reporting period of 27 July – 2 August 2020.
- 28-JUL-20 – Robbery – at 10:00 UTC, a bulk carrier was robbed whist at Macapa Anchorage No. 2, Brazil in position 00 02 36 N, 050 59 08 W.
- 29-JUL-20 – Robbery – at 03:10 UTC, a drifting Bulk Carrier, was boarded by two armed robbers in position 18 35 09 N, 072 27 02 W, approximately 6nm NW of Port Au Prince, Haiti.
- 30-JUL-20 – Migrant and Refugee – More than 200 migrants have crossed the English Channel in 20 boats in a single day.

|Migrant and Refugee Incident: This could involve Search and Rescue (SAR) operations, or information about a boat capsizing and people drowning, or an attack on the group.|
