The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 9 maritime-related incidents during the reporting period of 10 – 16 February 2026. The following incidents were recorded:
- 10-FEB-26 Drugs Interdiction – Stowaway discovered with over 350 kilos of cocaine in San Juan Harbor, Puerto Rico.
- 11-FEB-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 36 migrants intercepted off the coast of Balikesir, Turkey.
- 12-FEB-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 38 migrants rescued off Foca, Turkey.
- 12-FEB-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 69 migrants intercepted off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 12-FEB-26 Drugs Interdiction – U.S and Mexico seize several tons of cocaine in coordinated operation in Pacific Ocean.
- 13-FEB-26 Drugs Interdiction – $133.5 million of cocaine offloaded by US Coast Guard in Port Everglades.
- 14-FEB-26 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 22 migrants intercepted off the coast of Çanakkale, Turkey.
- 15-FEB-26 General Security Warning – Underway tanker VERONICA III intercepted in Indian Ocean.
- 16-FEB-26 Robbery – Outboard motor stolen at Sint Maarten, Caribbean.
