The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 18 maritime related incidents during the reporting period of 24 – 30 June 2025. The following incidents were recorded:
- 24-JUN-25 General Security Warning – Regional tension in Arabian Gulf, Straits of Hormuz, and Northern Arabian Sea
- 25-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 118 migrants intercepted in the English Channel.
- 25-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 63 migrants apprehended off the coast of Mugla, Turkey.
- 25-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 32 migrants apprehended off the coast of Çanakkale, Turkey.
- 26-JUN-25 Drug Interdiction – Crew members arrested for smuggling in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
- 26-JUN-25 Boarding – Underway tanker TULIP boarded in Singapore Strait.
- 26-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 30 migrants apprehended off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 27-JUN-25 General Security Warning – Greenpeace activists manoeuvre dangerously alongside vessel in the South Pacific Ocean.
- 27-JUN-25 Boarding – Underway container vessel boarded 3.8nm northwest of Kapalajernih Island, Indonesia.
- 27-JUN-25 Drug Interdiction – Over 3,500 kilos of cocaine intercepted in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
- 27-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident -22 migrants apprehended off the coast off Balıkesir, Turkey.
- 27-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 90 migrants apprehended off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 27-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 14 migrants apprehended off the coast of Muğla, Turkey.
- 28-JUN-25 Drug Interdiction – 2.4 tonnes of cocaine seized at Port of Standford-le-Hope, Essex, England.
- 29-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 585 migrants intercepted in English Channel.
- 29-JUN-25 Boarding – Bulk carrier GALATEIA boarded in the Singapore Strait.
- 30-JUN-25 Boarding – Bulk carrier boarded in the Singapore Strait.
- 30-JUN-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – Migrant vessel shipwrecked off Lampedusa, Mediterranean Sea.
