incidents during the reporting period of 12 – 18 March 2024. The following incidents were recorded:
- 12-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 39 migrants rescued off the Canary Islands .
- 12-MAR-23 – Boarding – Underway bulk carrier ABDULLAH hijacked 600nm east of Mogadishu, Somalia.
- 12-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 54 migrants detained off Balıkesir, Turkey.
- 13-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 31 migrants detained off Mugla, Turkey.
- 13-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 25 migrants rescued after capsizing in the Mediterranean.
- 14-MAR-23 – Hijacking – MV RUEN hijacked in Arabian Sea.
- 14-MAR-23 – Attack – MV attacked 50nm SE of Aden, Yemen.
- 14-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 71 migrants detained and rescued off Mugla, Turkey.
- 14-MAR-23 – Attack – Underway MV attacked 50nm SW of Al Hudayda, Yemen.
- 14-MAR-23 – General Security Warning – Piracy activity off the Somali coast.
- 14-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 90 migrants rescued and detained off Izmir, Turkey.
- 15-MAR-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 269 migrants detained off Morocco.

- 16-MAR-23 – Hijacking – Yemeni fishing vessel NAJM hijacked in the Gulf of Aden.
- 17-MAR-23 – Drugs Interdiction – Ten tons of drugs seized of Morocco.
- 17-MAR-23 – Attack – MV attacked in the Gulf of Aden.
