incidents during the reporting period of 20 – 26 February 2024. The following incidents were recorded:
- 20-FEB-24 – Suspicious Approach – Suspicious approach on MV off Bissau, Gulf of Guinea.
- 20-FEB-24 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 30 migrants detained off Izmir, Turkey.
- 20-FEB-24 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 37 migrants rescued and detained off Mugla, Turkey.
- 20-FEB-24 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 54 migrants detained off Canakkale, Turkey.
- 20-FEB-24 – Boarding – Bulk carrier GLOBE EXPLORER boarded at Panjang Anchorage.
- 20-FEB-24 – Attack – Cargo vessel MSC SILVER II attacked in the Gulf of Aden.
- 21-FEB-24 – General Security Warning – Explosions reported in Red Sea, 40nm west of AI Hudaydah, Yemen.
- 21-FEB-23 – General Security Warning – Heightened Uncrewed Aerial System activity in the Red Sea.
- 22-FEB-23 – General Security Warning – Live firing exercise 46nm East of Sohar, Oman.
- 22-FEB-24 – Attack – MV attacked by missile 70nm SE of Aden, Gulf of Aden.
- 23-FEB-24 – General Security Warning – Five speedboats engaging in suspicious activity with a Dhow SE of Muscat, Oman.
- 23-FEB-24 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – Migrant boat capsizes 3.5nm off Malta.
- 24-FEB-24 – Attack – Underway MV attacked 70NM east of Djibouti, Gulf of Aden.
- 24-FEB-24 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 114 Migrants rescued 40NM from Gavdos, Greek Islands.
- 24-FEB-24 – General Security Warning – Fast boat acting in an irregular manner 20NM east of Khor Fakkan, UAE.
- 25-FEB-23 – Migrant & Refugee Incident – 290 Migrants intercepted in the English Channel.
